For years I learned restraint.
To be silenced.
To be obedient.
To give what was needed.
To want what I was given.
And so my Tiger spirit starved,
writhing and wriggling
in ferocious hunger,
Until she began to eat me from the inside
Out.
But I’ve been cut open,
And she’s been released.
This beautiful beast of
Grace and Tenacity.
On the prowl, not to devour,
but to discover
The mystery of existence,
And the passion of life.
