I do not tear the pages out of this
Funny Love Story.
Goldfish swim in the whirlpool of our glass bowl;
the familiarity of chaos is comforting,
but we do not know of the waters that surround us
until the storm stops,
and the terror of tranquility joins
the anxiety of anticipation.
Nostalgia and regrets have abandoned me,
as I stand at the edge of this pier.
All paths have led me here, a thousand lives over.
This ocean has existed forever,
and the loop of Fate brings me here,
unfalteringly.
The tide pulls me in.
I am home.
